On the 17th of August we got more baby chicks. 2 more Welsummers, 2 Barred Plymouth Rocks, and 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes. Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago though we lost of the golden laced wyandottes. One was super spunky - (think chick on drugs) and was always advancing faster than the others. One evening while we were asleep she tried to escape her brooder box and it didn't go well. We found her in in the morning. Boo. The rest are doing great though and are getting ready to soon be transferred from the brooder box into the yard!
