It's arrived! Our first Egg!

Here it is!!! It's small just yet, but it's here! Our first egg! We're so looking forward to when we get more and bigger eggs! In case you didn't know, eggs in young newer laying hens are always small to start and as the chicken gets bigger and older, so do the eggs. So kudos go to our Rhode Island Red chicken, Be (of Bar, Be, & Que)!!! Be was the first chick out of the box when our passion for chickens overtook us and they started arriving into our lives.
